ECLASS is an international, widely used data standard for the classification of products and services. It enables product master data to be exchanged digitally across all borders - across industries, countries, languages, and organizations.

ECLASS promotes international interoperability of data exchange in the supply network with a cross-industry product classification systems and standardized interfaces

ECLASS has established itself internationally as the only ISO/IEC-compliant industry standard, and is thus the worldwide reference-data standard for the classification and unambiguous description of products and services.
